Mo&t & Chandon's MCIII represents the pinnacle of the house's blending mastery, conceived as an ultra-prestige, multi-vintage cuvé that defies traditional Champagne categories. The name MCIII refers to the three distinct aging environments—metal, wood, and glass—used to mature the component wines before their final assemblage. This complex trilogy of maturation begins with the first stratum: fresh, vibrant Chardonnay and Pinot Noir fermented and aged in stainless steel vats. The second stratum introduces richness and structure, utilizing reserve wines aged in large oak casks. The third stratum contributes profound depth and maturity, incorporating older vintage Champagnes that have aged on their lees in glass bottles. This ambitious, multi-layered approach results in a Champagne of extraordinary texture, complexity, and harmony, offering a sensory journey through different eras of the estate's history.
