Moet & Chandon's White Star is an iconic chapter in the history of Champagne, particularly in the United States where it reigned as the nation's favorite celebratory pour for decades. Crafted as an Extra Dry cuvee, this non-vintage Champagne features a classic blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay. The style is famously softer and slightly rounder than a traditional Brut, offering a delicate touch of sweetness that made it immensely approachable and a favorite at grand celebrations, weddings, and historical ship christenings throughout the 20th century. Though eventually phased out to make way for the drier Brut Imperial, White Star remains a legendary symbol of mid-century glamour and Moet's masterful blending heritage, capturing the chalky terroir of the Marne Valley, Cote des Blancs, and Montagne de Reims.
