Hailing from the cool, fog-cloaked Casablanca Valley within the greater Aconcagua region, Morandé's Edición Limitada Golden Harvest is a spectacular showcase of Chilean sweet wine craftsmanship. This rare cuvée is crafted from Sauvignon Blanc grapes left on the vine to develop Botrytis cinerea, or 'noble rot'—a phenomenon enabled by the valley's unique maritime climate, characterized by humid mornings and dry, sunny afternoons. Pioneer Pablo Morandé was among the first to recognize Casablanca's potential for world-class cool-climate wines, and this late-harvest gem is a testament to that vision. Fermented and aged in French oak barrels, the wine develops a luscious complexity, balancing vibrant natural acidity with decadent notes of honey, dried apricots, orange peel, and subtle sweet spice.
