Hailing from the cool-climate zones of the Aconcagua region, Morandé's Terrarum Gewurztraminer Reserva is a testament to the winery's pioneering exploration of Chile's coastal terroirs. Influenced by the chilly breezes of the Pacific Ocean and morning fog, the grapes undergo a slow ripening process that locks in their signature aromatic complexity. This wine is crafted to highlight the expressive, exotic nature of the variety, utilizing gentle pressing and temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation to preserve its vibrant fruit character. Historically, Morandé was among the first to prove that Chile's cool coastal valleys could produce world-class aromatic whites, breaking away from traditional warm-valley viticulture.

Viña Morandé blev grundlagt i 1996 af den visionære vinmager Pablo Morandé, som er almindeligt anerkendt for sin pionerindsats inden for vindyrkning i det kølige klima i Casablanca Valley. I dag rangerer vinhuset blandt Chiles mest innovative og respekterede producenter. Med vinmarker i førsteklasses terroirs på tværs af Casablanca, Maipo, Cachapoal og Maule forener huset klassisk håndværk med en utrættelig innovationslyst. I kælderen eksperimenteres der flittigt med utraditionelle modningsbeholdere såsom betonæg, keramiske amforaer og store franske egetræs-foudres.
