Crafted from 100% Garnacha sourced from ancient, head-trained vines nestled in the high-altitude, clay-limestone slopes of the Alto Najerilla district, this wine benefits from a cool climate that preserves vibrant acidity. The winemaking process is highly selective, utilizing only the self-run 'lagrima' (teardrop) juice obtained without mechanical pressing. Founded in 1932 by Isaac Muga and Aurora Caño, Bodegas Muga is a legendary family-owned estate located in the historic Barrio de la Estación of Haro, in the Rioja Alta region of Spain.
