Crafted by the historic Nieto Senetiner estate, which has championed Mendoza's viticulture since 1888, the Camila Malbec is a vibrant and modern expression of Argentina's signature grape. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards in Mendoza, where intense sunlight and cool mountain nights foster optimal phenolic ripeness, this wine is designed to showcase the pure, fruit-forward character of the region. The winemaking emphasizes fresh primary fruit, utilizing temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel followed by brief aging with French oak to impart subtle structure and notes of vanilla without overwhelming the bright plum and blackberry core. It represents an accessible, highly approachable style of Malbec that honors the winery's deep Italian-immigrant roots and pioneering spirit in Luján de Cuyo.

🍾 wine.about_producer

Founded in 1888 by Italian immigrants in the premier wine-growing region of Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Nieto Senetiner is one of Argentina's most historic and prestigious wineries. The estate was acquired by the Nieto and Senetiner families in 1969, who expanded its facilities while preserving its architectural heritage, and it is now part of the Perez Companc Group. Renowned for its deep respect for terroir, the winery crafts exceptional wines from historic vineyards, including the centenarian vines of Finca Villa Blanca planted in 1906. Under the guidance of winemaker Santiago Mayorga, Nieto Senetiner produces elegant, structured wines, most notably their acclaimed Don Nicanor Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and innovative blends that showcase the classic character of Mendoza.
