Named in honor of Don Nicanor Nieto, a foundational figure who helped shape the winery's legacy, the Don Nicanor Malbec is a love letter to the traditional terroirs of Mendoza. Sourced from selected high-altitude vineyards in Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, this wine captures the dual nature of Mendoza's geography: the rich, plush fruit character of the historic clay-loam soils of Luján, combined with the vibrant acidity and structural elegance of the stony, high-elevation Uco Valley plots. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo careful fermentation followed by aging in French oak barrels. This meticulous process yields a wine of deep violet hues, showcasing intense aromas of ripe plums, blackberries, and subtle notes of vanilla and sweet spice, embodying the classic, robust spirit of Argentine Malbec.
