Hailing from the historic vineyards of Luján de Cuyo in Mendoza, the Verne Malbec by Nieto Senetiner is a tribute to the spirit of exploration and discovery. The name itself whispers of adventure, inviting wine enthusiasts on a sensory journey through Argentina's premier wine-growing region. Crafted by a winery with roots stretching back to 1888, this Malbec captures the vibrant energy of high-altitude viticulture. The grapes benefit from intense Andean sunlight and dramatic diurnal temperature shifts, resulting in a wine that balances lush, ripe red fruit flavors with a smooth, approachable structure. It is fermented in stainless steel and aged thoughtfully to preserve its fresh, expressive character, epitomizing the modern, fruit-forward style of Argentine Malbec while honoring the estate's centenarian winemaking legacy.

🍾 wine.about_producer

Founded in 1888 by Italian immigrants in the premier wine-growing region of Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Nieto Senetiner is one of Argentina's most historic and prestigious wineries. The estate was acquired by the Nieto and Senetiner families in 1969, who expanded its facilities while preserving its architectural heritage, and it is now part of the Perez Companc Group. Renowned for its deep respect for terroir, the winery crafts exceptional wines from historic vineyards, including the centenarian vines of Finca Villa Blanca planted in 1906. Under the guidance of winemaker Santiago Mayorga, Nieto Senetiner produces elegant, structured wines, most notably their acclaimed Don Nicanor Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and innovative blends that showcase the classic character of Mendoza.
