Bodega Norton's Finca La Colonia Cabernet Sauvignon originates from the historic La Colonia estate, located in the prestigious Luján de Cuyo region of Mendoza. Once a vibrant settlement for the winery's early workers, this high-altitude vineyard sits at approximately 1,100 meters above sea level, nestled against the foothills of the Andes. The intense mountain sunlight combined with dramatic diurnal temperature shifts allows the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes to develop deep color, structured tannins, and signature notes of blackcurrant and red pepper. Crafted to highlight the estate's unique terroir, the wine undergoes traditional fermentation followed by careful aging, resulting in a harmonious balance of ripe fruit, subtle spice, and approachable structure.

Founded in 1895 by English engineer Edmund James Palmer Norton, Bodega Norton is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in Argentina's Luján de Cuyo region in Mendoza. In 1989, the historic estate was acquired by Austrian businessman Gernot Langes-Swarovski, who modernized the facilities while preserving its rich heritage.
