✨ Technical Specifications

Bodega Norton's Tengo Torrontés is a vibrant celebration of Argentina's signature white grape, crafted to showcase the variety's intensely aromatic and youthful character. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards in Mendoza, where cool night temperatures preserve the grape's natural acidity and delicate perfumes, this wine undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks with no oak contact. The name 'Tengo' (meaning 'I have' in Spanish) invites wine lovers to embrace the expressive, joyful spirit of Argentine viticulture. Historically, Torrontés is believed to have emerged from a natural cross of Muscat of Alexandria and Criolla Chica, bringing a unique combination of Muscat-like floral aromas and a crisp, refreshing palate.

🍾 About the Producer

Established in 1895 by English engineer Edmund James Palmer Norton, Bodega Norton is one of Argentina's most historic wineries, situated in Perdriel within the celebrated Luján de Cuyo subregion of Mendoza. In 1989, the estate was acquired by Austrian entrepreneur Gernot Langes-Swarovski, who introduced cutting-edge European winemaking technology while preserving its heritage of century-old, ungrafted vines. Bodega Norton emphasizes meticulous high-altitude viticulture beneath the Andes, crafting wines that seamlessly blend mineral complexity with vibrant fruit expression. The estate is globally celebrated for its benchmark Malbecs, including the flagship Gernot Langes and Norton Reserva, alongside distinguished Cabernet Sauvignon, crisp white varietals, and refined sparkling wines.
