The Kaiserberg, or 'Emperor's Hill,' is renowned for its steep, sun-drenched slopes and rich limestone-marl soils, which impart a distinct mineral tension, structure, and vibrant acidity to the wine. Historically, the Pfalz was a favored retreat for Holy Roman Emperors, and this vineyard site lives up to its regal name. Zeter employs traditional hand-harvesting, gentle maceration, and extended aging in French oak barriques to craft a Pinot Noir of remarkable depth, complexity, and elegance, seamlessly marrying cool-climate German precision with Burgundian-style finesse.
