The Ornellaia Collezione 2000-2003 Assortment Case represents a historic journey through four distinct growing seasons in Bolgheri, the cradle of the Super Tuscan movement. Established in 1981 by Marchese Lodovico Antinori, Ornellaia quickly became a global icon, challenging traditional Italian winemaking by championing Bordeaux varieties along the Tuscan coast. This exclusive collection showcases the estate's signature blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The terroir of Bolgheri, defined by its proximity to the Tyrrhenian Sea and a mosaic of marine, alluvial, and volcanic soils, imparts a unique Mediterranean character to these international grapes.
