✨ wine.spec_sheet

Conde Osborne Solera Gran Reserva is a masterpiece of Spanish distillation heritage, crafted by the historic House of Osborne, which was founded in 1772 in El Puerto de Santa María, Andalucia. This exceptional brandy is deeply intertwined with Spanish culture; its iconic white porcelain bottle was designed in 1964 by the legendary surrealist artist Salvador Dalí. Produced from spirits distilled from Airén grapes, it undergoes a patient aging process through the traditional Solera y Criaderas system. The brandy is aged for an average of over ten years in American oak casks that previously contained sweet Pedro Ximénez sherry. This unique maturation imparts a dark mahogany color and an extraordinarily rich profile characterized by notes of dried figs, raisins, roasted cocoa, toasted oak, and vanilla, representing the pinnacle of Andalucian brandy craftsmanship.

🍾 wine.about_producer

Founded in 1772 by English merchant Thomas Osborne Mann in El Puerto de Santa María, Spain, Grupo Osborne is one of the oldest and most prestigious wine and spirits houses in the Iberian Peninsula. While deeply rooted in the Sherry Triangle of Andalusia, Spain, the house also boasts a historic legacy in Portugal's Douro Valley and Vila Nova de Gaia, crafting exceptional Port wines alongside their legendary Sherries. Osborne's production philosophy centers on meticulous aging, utilizing the traditional dynamic solera system for their Sherries in Spain and classic lodge maturation for their Ports in Portugal. Their highly acclaimed portfolio ranges from rare, decades-old Sherries like the Venerable Pedro Ximénez 30YO and Bailén Oloroso to elegant, structured Ports including aged Tawnies, Late Bottled Vintages, and classic Rubies.
