Osborne Fine White Port represents a harmonious blend of Spanish wine-making heritage and Portuguese terroir. Established in 1772 by Thomas Osborne Mann, the house of Osborne has long been celebrated for its iconic bull silhouette and exceptional fortified wines. This Fine White Port is crafted from traditional Douro grape varieties, including Malvasia Fina, Codega, and Rabigato, grown on the steep, schistous slopes of the Douro Valley. The wine undergoes a brief maceration before fermentation is halted by the addition of high-quality grape spirit, preserving its natural sweetness. It is then aged in oak casks in the historic cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia, resulting in a golden-hued, aromatic fortified wine brimming with notes of honey, stone fruits, and a touch of wood aging. It beautifully captures the historic tradition of white Port as both a versatile mixer and a delightful standalone aperitif.

Osborne blev grundlagt i 1772 i El Puerto de Santa María af den engelske købmand Thomas Osborne Mann og er i dag et af Spaniens ældste og mest velansete vin- og spiritushuse. Gennem mere end to et halvt århundrede i familiens eje har huset opbygget et enestående renommé med rødder i den traditionelle solera-lagring i Andalusiens historiske Sherry-trekant – suppleret af enestående portvine fra Dourodalen.
