✨ Technical Specifications
Osborne's Medium 10RF is a classic expression of a sweetened Oloroso Sherry, crafted in the historic coastal town of El Puerto de Santa Maria within Spain's famed Sherry Triangle. Founded in 1772 by English immigrant Thomas Osborne Mann, Bodegas Osborne is one of Spain's oldest and most iconic wine houses, instantly recognizable by its legendary silhouette of the black bull dotting the Spanish countryside. The '10RF' designation traces back to historical family soleras and cask markings. This wine is a masterfully blended Sherry, primarily composed of Palomino Fino grapes with a rich addition of sweet Pedro Ximenez. It undergoes oxidative aging in the traditional Solera system using seasoned American oak casks, where the coastal humidity and gentle Atlantic breezes of El Puerto impart a distinct roundness and soft, nutty complexity. The result is a mahogany-hued wine that beautifully balances the dry, savory depth of Oloroso with the luscious, velvety sweetness of PX.
