✨ wine.spec_sheet
Hailing from the historic cellars of Osborne, founded in 1772 in El Puerto de Santa Maria, this luscious sweet Sherry is crafted from 100% Pedro Ximenez grapes. The '1827' designation honors the founding year of this legendary solera. To create this nectar, the grapes undergo 'soleo'—sun-drying on straw mats under the intense Andalusian sun to concentrate their sugars and flavors. The wine is then aged through the traditional criaderas and solera system in American oak casks. This oxidative process yields an incredibly rich, dark, and viscous mahogany wine, steeped in history and characterized by intense aromas of raisins, dried figs, molasses, and toasted nuts. The iconic Osborne bull silhouette remains a symbol of this deep-rooted Spanish winemaking heritage.
