✨ Technical Specifications

Founded in 1772 by English merchant Thomas Osborne Mann in El Puerto de Santa María, the house of Osborne is one of Spain's oldest and most illustrious producers of wines and spirits, famously symbolized across the Spanish landscape by the iconic silhouette of the Osborne Bull. The Imperial Solera Gran Reserva XO represents the pinnacle of their distilling heritage in Andalucia. Crafted from select distillates of Airén grapes, this Brandy de Jerez is aged through the traditional Solera and Criadera system. It matures patiently in American oak casks that previously held rich Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherries. Over years of slow oxidation in the unique microclimate of the Sherry Triangle, the spirit develops a deep mahogany hue and an incredibly complex aromatic profile of toasted oak, vanilla, roasted cacao, and dried fruits.

🍾 About the Producer

Established in 1772 by English merchant Thomas Osborne Mann, Bodegas Osborne stands as one of the most storied and enduring dynastic houses in the Marco de Jerez. Headquartered at the historic Bodega de Mora in El Puerto de Santa María, the house benefits from a coastal microclimate shaped by the Guadalete estuary and cooling Atlantic poniente breezes, which temper humidity and foster dynamic biological and oxidative maturation. While Palomino Fino and Pedro Ximénez grapes originate primarily from the white, moisture-retentive albariza soils of top pagos such as Balbaína, Osborne's cellar mastery centers on its monumental criaderas y soleras. Under the direction of celebrated enologist and master blender Marcos Alguacil, the bodega preserves an extraordinary repository of historic casks, including rescued ancestral criaderas from Pedro Domecq. Osborne's fortified pinnacle is expressed across revered VORS and Rare Solera bottlings—exemplified by Sibarita Oloroso, Palo Cortado Capuchino, Amontillado Solera AOS, and Pedro Ximénez Solera 1827—alongside legendary Solera Gran Reserva brandies.
