Osborne Veterano is an iconic Spanish spirit with a rich heritage dating back to its creation by the historic House of Osborne, founded in 1772 in El Puerto de Santa Maria, Andalusia. Historically classified as a Brandy de Jerez, Veterano is now celebrated as a traditional 'Bebida Espirituosa' (spirit drink), maintaining its classic 30% ABV profile. It is crafted from wine distillates primarily sourced from the Airen grape, which are then aged using the legendary Solera and Criaderas system. The spirit matures in American oak casks that previously held rich Oloroso Sherry, imparting a smooth, mahogany hue and a complex bouquet of roasted nuts, vanilla, and dried fruits. Veterano is also famously tied to Spanish cultural history; its 1956 advertising campaign birthed the iconic black silhouette of the Osborne Bull, which still stands proudly across the Spanish landscape as an unofficial national symbol.
