Named for the 'blood of Jupiter' (Sanguis Jovis), Sangiovese is Italy's most celebrated red grape. While historically famous in Tuscany, Pasqua coaxes a wonderfully warm, sun-kissed expression from this variety in the southern region of Puglia. Here, the grape thrives under the intense Mediterranean sun, tempered by cooling Adriatic sea breezes. Grown in clay and limestone soils, Pasqua’s Sangiovese Puglia is crafted to highlight fresh, vibrant fruit. Fermented in stainless steel to preserve its youthful energy, it offers a softer, rounder profile than its northern cousins, bursting with red cherries, wild berries, and a touch of rustic spice.
