Named in honor of Guy and Louis Jaboulet, who steered this historic Rhône house through much of the 20th century, the 'Guy Louis' Rouge is a premium Côtes-du-Rhône that showcases the estate's blending mastery. This cuvée bridges the Northern and Southern Rhône styles, combining the structural elegance and dark-fruit intensity of Syrah with the warm, fleshy red-fruit character of Grenache and the rustic depth of Mourvèdre. Sourced from select, low-yielding old vines, the wine undergoes traditional fermentation followed by aging in French oak barrels. The result is a sophisticated, terroir-driven wine that offers a glimpse into the legendary Jaboulet style at an accessible level, rich with notes of black pepper, wild herbs, and dark berries.

Founded in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet in the northern Rhône Valley, Paul Jaboulet Aîné is one of France's most iconic wine estates, renowned for its historic vineyards and uncompromising quality. Now owned by the Frey family and guided by winemaker Caroline Frey, the estate has transitioned to certified organic and biodynamic viticulture across its legendary holdings, which span prestigious appellations like Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, and Cornas. The house is globally celebrated for its flagship Syrah, Hermitage "La Chapelle," alongside expressive white wines and the accessible, classic Parallèle 45 range. Through meticulous parcel-by-parcel vinification and aging in French oak, Jaboulet continues to craft elegant, terroir-driven wines that define the character of the Rhône.
