Paul Jaboulet Aîné's 'Incognito' series is a playful and clever concept designed to showcase classic Rhône varietals with a touch of mystery. The 'Incognito C Blanc' centers around the Viognier grape, with the 'C' coyly hinting at its stylistic spiritual home of Condrieu in the northern Rhône. Crafted with the same meticulous care as the estate's historic appellation wines, this cuvée is sourced from vineyards featuring the characteristic granitic and sandy soils of the region. By releasing it under a more flexible designation, the winemaking team delivers a wine of exceptional purity, focusing on the vibrant, exotic aromatics of Viognier—such as white peach, apricot, and spring blossoms—supported by a fresh, mineral-driven texture that makes it both accessible and highly intriguing.

Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné blev grundlagt i 1834 af Antoine Jaboulet og er en af Rhône-dalens mest hæderkronede vingårde, beliggende på de sagnomspundne skråninger ved Tain-l'Hermitage. Siden 2006 har huset oplevet en dynamisk renæssance under Frey-familiens ledelse, hvor vinmager Caroline Frey har omlagt de legendariske terroirs til komplet økologisk og biodynamisk dyrkning. Huset er verdensberømt for sine skoledannende Rhône-vine – anført af den mytiske Hermitage 'La Chapelle' og den ikoniske 'Domaine de Thalabert' Crozes-Hermitage, suppleret af livlige Côtes du Rhône-aftapninger som den velkendte 'Parallèle 45'-serie.
