Named after the 45th parallel north, which runs just two kilometers from the historic Jaboulet cellars in Tain-l'Hermitage, Parallèle 45 has served as a classic ambassador for the Côtes du Rhône region since its introduction in the 1950s. This wine represents the symbolic boundary where the cooler northern climate meets the sun-drenched Mediterranean south. Crafted primarily from Grenache and Syrah grown on stony, clay-limestone soils, it is vinified in stainless steel and concrete vats to preserve its vibrant red berry fruit, wild herb notes, and approachable structure. Founded in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné is one of the most revered estates in the Rhône Valley, situated along the storied slopes of Tain-l'Hermitage.
