Arrogant Frog was launched in 2005 by Jean-Claude Mas as a playful, self-deprecating response to the traditional snobbery often associated with French wine. Embracing the 'arrogant' stereotype with a dapper, beret-wearing mascot, this brand proved that Languedoc could produce seriously good, fruit-forward wines with a sense of humor. The classic Rouge (often known as the Ribet Red) is sourced from the sunny hillsides of the Hérault Valley in the Pays d'Oc, where Mediterranean breezes cool the clay and limestone vineyards. Vinified with modern techniques, a portion of the blend is aged in French and American oak barrels for about four months, resulting in a smooth, approachable red that balances ripe dark fruit with subtle vanilla and spice.

Established in 1892 with roots at Château de Conas, Domaines Paul Mas was revitalized in 2000 by Jean-Claude Mas, who championed the concept of 'Luxe Rural' to showcase the premium potential of the Languedoc region. Based in Pézenas, France, the family-owned estate spans multiple vineyards across the Hérault valley, practicing sustainable and organic viticulture certified by Terra Vitis. The winery is celebrated for its expressive, Mediterranean-influenced wines, seamlessly blending traditional Southern French varieties like Marsanne, Grenache, and Syrah with international grapes. From the vibrant, everyday Claude Val and Les Tannes ranges to refined single-estate cuvées, Paul Mas delivers accessible elegance that captures the warmth and diverse terroir of the Pays d'Oc.
