The name 'Les Tannes' pays homage to the unique clay and limestone soils of the region, which retain vital moisture during the hot Mediterranean summers. To preserve the grape's signature crispness and delicate aromatics in this warm climate, the grapes are harvested during the cool of the night. Established in 2000 by fourth-generation vigneron Jean-Claude Mas, Domaines Paul Mas has become a preeminent force redefining modern viticulture in the Languedoc.
