Crafted under the 'Luxe Rural' philosophy of Jean-Claude Mas, the Tannes Syrah Occitane is a vibrant expression of the Languedoc's sun-drenched terroir. The name 'Les Tannes' pays homage to the historical leather tanneries that once dotted the Hérault valley, reflecting the deep-rooted artisanal heritage of the region. Sourced from organically farmed vineyards characterized by clay-limestone soils, this wine undergoes traditional vinification with temperature-controlled fermentation to preserve its intense primary fruit. A portion of the blend is gently aged in oak barrels to add subtle complexity and roundness, resulting in a classic Southern French Syrah that balances rich dark fruit flavors with characteristic notes of black pepper, violet, and wild garrigue.
