Today, it has evolved into a legendary multi-regional blend, drawing fruit from premier South Australian regions like Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, and Padthaway. The wine is traditionally matured in seasoned American oak hogsheads, allowing the rich, dark fruit character, black pepper, and warm spice notes to shine without being overpowered by new wood.
