Bin 8 is traditionally matured in older oak hogsheads previously used for its older siblings, Bin 128, Bin 28, and the legendary Bin 389—all sharing the number '8' in their names. This clever naming convention highlights the wine's pedigree and stylistic connection to Penfolds' most prestigious Bin wines. Sourced from multi-regional vineyards across South Australia, it represents the classic Penfolds house style: ripe, generous fruit balanced by structured, savory tannins and integrated oak.
