PepperBox is a contemporary wine label established under the portfolio of Casella Family Brands, originally conceived in 2018 and formally established as an independent food-led brand in 2021. Originating from South Eastern Australia, the wines draw upon broad multi-regional sourcing that spans warm interior valleys as well as coastal South Australian GI parcels, including McLaren Vale and Currency Creek. The viticultural framework relies on conventional, large-scale farming with an emphasis on reliable physiological ripeness and generous fruit expression. PepperBox was designed specifically around culinary synergy, emphasizing bold flavor profiles, approachable textures, and immediate food-pairing versatility. Vinification takes place at Casella's high-efficiency winery in Yenda, employing temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation and judicious oak regimes. The benchmark portfolio is anchored by PepperBox Shiraz, an assertive, fruit-forward bottling accented by cracked peppercorn and mocha, complemented by expressions of Chardonnay and Malbec.
