✨ wine.spec_sheet

The Piper-Heidsieck Prohibition Edition is a historical tribute to the Roaring Twenties, an era when the United States banned alcohol, yet Champagne remained the ultimate symbol of celebration and rebellion in underground speakeasies. Piper-Heidsieck was famously smuggled into the US during this period, becoming a favorite pour of the jazz-age elite. This special bottling houses the classic, structured style of the maison's signature Brut. It is built around a backbone of Pinot Noir, which provides structure and power, complemented by the roundness of Pinot Meunier and the elegance of Chardonnay. Sourced from over 100 different crus, the wine undergoes traditional bottle fermentation and aging on its lees, resulting in a vibrant, crisp profile defined by fresh pear, citrus, and toasted brioche.
