Pol Roger's Vintage Brut is a masterclass in patience and precision, crafted only in years where nature yields grapes of exceptional maturity and structural balance. Sourced from Grand and Premier Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs, this cuvée represents the harmonious marriage of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. A key element to its legendary complexity is the house's subterranean cellars in Épernay. Descending 30 meters below ground, these are among the deepest and coldest cellars in Champagne, maintaining a constant 9°C. This chilly environment slows the secondary fermentation, fostering an exceptionally fine, persistent effervescence and allowing the wine to develop profound autolytic complexity over its minimum of eight years of aging on the lees. Hand-riddled by a dedicated team, this vintage Champagne carries the legacy of a house that famously captured the devotion of Sir Winston Churchill.

Det hæderkronede champagnehus Pol Roger blev grundlagt i 1849 af manden af samme navn og har i dag til huse på den berømte Avenue de Champagne i Épernay.
