Domaine Prieuré Roch's Clos de la Goillotte (often referred to as Clos Goillotte) is one of Burgundy's most exclusive and historic monopoles. Covering a mere 0.55 hectares in the heart of the Vosne-Romanée village, this tiny walled vineyard has a rich history, once serving as the private garden and vineyard for the Prince de Conti, adjacent to his historical residence. The terroir features clay-limestone soils that yield a Pinot Noir of extraordinary aromatic complexity, depth, and silkiness. In line with the domaine's uncompromising natural philosophy, the wine is crafted using whole-cluster fermentation with native yeasts, no temperature control, and zero added sulfur, followed by aging in custom oak barrels. The result is a pure, vibrant, and deeply soulful expression of Vosne-Romanée that defies traditional classification boundaries, offering an ethereal bouquet of wild berries, rose petals, and exotic spices.
