Crafted as an exclusive selection for the prestigious Ordine dei Cavalieri del Tartufo e dei Vini di Alba (Order of the Knights of the Truffle and Wines of Alba), this rare bottling represents a pinnacle of traditional winemaking by the legendary Produttori del Barbaresco cooperative. Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes harvested from the region's finest calcareous clay soils, this wine undergoes classic long maceration and extensive aging in large Slavonian oak casks. The historic Order, founded in 1967 at the Castle of Grinzane Cavour, selects only exceptional lots through rigorous blind tastings to bear their historic label. The resulting wine is a masterclass in classic Barbaresco, boasting ethereal aromas of dried roses, tar, leather, and bright red cherries, backed by robust tannins and a vibrant acidity that reflects the unique microclimate of the Langhe hills.

Founded in 1958 by parish priest Don Fiorino Marengo and nineteen local growers, Produttori del Barbaresco was established to revive the historic cooperative model first initiated by Domizio Cavazza in 1894 in the Langhe hills of Piedmont, Italy. Widely celebrated as one of the world's preeminent wine cooperatives, the estate unites over fifty member families dedicated exclusively to the cultivation of the Nebbiolo grape across exceptional vineyard sites. Upholding steadfast traditional winemaking principles, including extended macerations and aging in large oak casks, the winery produces benchmark expressions that embody pure varietal typicity and terroir transparency.
