The RedHeads Esule is born from a spirit of rebellion and liberation, with its name translating to 'exile' in Italian. This wine represents a departure from mainstream, mass-produced styles, sourcing Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from prized, low-yielding vineyards across South Australia's premier regions. Crafted in small batches, the fruit undergoes careful fermentation followed by maturation in French oak hogsheads. The result is a wine of striking depth and character, boasting classic notes of dark cassis, mint, and structured, fine-grained tannins. The evocative label, depicting an exiled figure escaping into the night, perfectly captures the winery's ethos of rescuing exceptional parcels of fruit to create wines with a distinct, independent soul.
