This Fine Champagne bottling, released in 1990, represents a strict blend of eaux-de-vie sourced exclusively from the two most prestigious crus of the region: Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, with at least 50% coming from the former. Grown in the unique, chalk-rich soils of Charente, the primary grape Ugni Blanc yields a high-acid, low-alcohol wine perfect for double distillation in traditional small copper pot stills. The resulting spirit was aged for decades in Limousin oak casks, developing a rich amber hue, complex aromas of dried stone fruits, warm spices, and the signature rancio character.
