The Spotlight Collection Harvest of Joy originates from the legendary To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville, Napa Valley, a site widely regarded as one of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards in the world. First planted in 1868 by pioneer H.W. Crabb, who named it 'To Kalon'—Greek for 'the highest beauty'—this historic terroir became the cornerstone of Robert Mondavi's vision when he established his winery in 1966. This bottling celebrates the vibrant spirit of the harvest from these ancient, gravelly soils. Typically a Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blend, the wine is crafted using traditional Bordeaux-style vinification and aged in premium French oak barrels. It showcases the classic Oakville signature of opulent black currant, dark plum, and complex notes of graphite, cocoa, and sweet spice, framed by powerful yet remarkably supple tannins.

Den visionære vinmager Robert Mondavi grundlagde Robert Mondavi Winery i Oakville i 1966 med en klar ambition: at skabe vine i Napa Valley, som kunne måle sig med verdens ypperste vinhuse.
