The region's rosé tradition dates back to 1896, popularized by Venetian senator Pompeo Molmenti who fell in love with the local terroir. This elegant rosé is crafted from a classic blend of native Groppello—the signature grape of the region prized for its spicy, red-berry character—alongside Marzemino, Sangiovese, and Barbera. Benefiting from the lake's mild, almost Mediterranean microclimate, the vines yield grapes with vibrant acidity and delicate aromatics. The grapes undergo a brief, gentle skin contact maceration to extract its signature pale pink hue, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh, floral bouquet of dog rose and wild strawberries, underpinned by a distinct saline minerality.
