The terroir is characterized by decomposed granite and sandstone soils, influenced by cooling maritime breezes from False Bay. This wine is typically produced as a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Standard vinification involves fermentation in stainless steel tanks followed by aging in French oak barrels, typically for 18 to 24 months with a significant proportion of new oak. The resulting style is structured and full-bodied, showcasing dark fruit characteristics, herbal undertones, and integrated oak influence.
