Hailing from the limestone-rich slopes of La Roche-Vineuse, a village named for its famous wine-nurturing stone cliffs, this cuv e is crafted from old Chardonnay vines that dig deep into the classic clay-limestone soils of the M connais. The 2022 vintage was characterized by a warm, sun-drenched growing season across Burgundy, which yielded beautifully ripe fruit with excellent concentration while maintaining a bright, balancing acidity. Aged on its fine lees, this wine beautifully marries the rich, golden orchard fruit and white flower aromas of a warm vintage with the intense, flinty minerality and saline finish native to these ancient soils.
