This legendary 20-year-old single malt from the Talisker Distillery on the Isle of Skye was bottled in 2003 at a robust cask strength, capturing the raw, untamed spirit of its coastal home. Distilled in the early 1980s, this expression represents a golden era of production at Carbost, where the spirit was condensed using traditional wooden worm tubs that impart a signature oily texture. The Isle of Skye's dramatic, windswept climate heavily influences the maturation process, infusing the whisky with a distinct maritime character. Talisker blev grundlagt i 1830 af brødrene Hugh og Kenneth MacAskill ved de vindblæste bredder af Loch Harport i Carbost og er det ældste aktive destilleri på Isle of Skye.
