Talisker's 25-Year-Old release is a majestic expression of the Isle of Skye's rugged maritime terroir. Distilled in Carbost, this single malt undergoes a slow, quarter-century maturation in refill American and European oak casks. This extended aging tempers the distillery's signature fiery, peppery youth, transforming it into an elegant, complex masterpiece where gentle peat smoke, sea salt, and sweet waxiness harmonize with rich oak, citrus peel, and dried fruit notes. 🍾 About the Producer
Founded in 1830 by brothers Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill on the windswept shores of Loch Harport in Carbost, Talisker is the oldest operating distillery on the Isle of Skye. The distillery is celebrated for its unique distillation setup, featuring swan-neck wash stills and traditional outdoor worm tubs, which impart a signature maritime and volcanic intensity to the new-make spirit.
