Hailing from the wind-swept shores of the Isle of Skye, the Talisker 25 Year Old is a masterclass in patient maturation, capturing the wild, maritime essence of its remote distillery. Established in 1830, Talisker has long been celebrated—even lauded by writer Robert Louis Stevenson as the 'king o' drinks.' This exceptional single malt is distilled from 100% malted barley using Talisker's unique five-still setup and traditional wooden worm tubs, which impart a signature oily, full-bodied texture. It is then aged for a quarter of a century in a combination of refill American and European oak casks. Over twenty-five years of breathing the salty Atlantic air, the distillery's characteristically aggressive peat smoke and fiery black pepper soften into an elegant, complex tapestry of gentle coastal brine, sweet vanilla, dried fruits, and a refined, warming spice finish.

Founded in 1830 by brothers Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill on the windswept shores of Loch Harport in Carbost, Talisker is the oldest operating distillery on the Isle of Skye.
