The Talisker 25 Year Old Cask Strength, bottled in 2004, represents a legendary era of the Isle of Skye's sole historic distillery. Distilled in the shadow of the Cuillin Hills, this expression spent a quarter of a century maturing in oak casks, absorbing the wild, windswept maritime atmosphere of the Scottish coast. The 2004 release is highly revered by collectors as it was bottled at its natural cask strength of 57.8% ABV, offering an unadulterated glimpse into Talisker's traditional profile. Talisker blev grundlagt i 1830 af brødrene Hugh og Kenneth MacAskill ved de vindblæste bredder af Loch Harport i Carbost og er det ældste aktive destilleri på Isle of Skye.
