This rare release from the legendary Talisker Distillery on the rugged Isle of Skye was matured in a single refill American oak hogshead (Cask No. 3357) and bottled in 2021. The use of a refill cask allows the classic, powerful maritime DNA of Talisker to take center stage without being overshadowed by heavy wood influence. Infused with the dramatic coastal elements of Skye, where the distillery's warehouses sit directly on the shores of Loch Harport, this whisky marries intense peat smoke, brine, and seaweed with delicate vanilla, citrus peel, and Talisker's trademark fiery black pepper finish, all softened by decades of patient maturation.

Talisker blev grundlagt i 1830 af brødrene Hugh og Kenneth MacAskill ved de vindblæste bredder af Loch Harport i Carbost og er det ældste aktive destilleri på Isle of Skye.
