The Talisker Distillers Edition represents a masterful marriage of rugged maritime peat and luscious Spanish sweetness. Originating from the windswept Isle of Skye, this single malt undergoes a double-maturation process. After its initial aging in traditional refill American oak casks, it is finished in casks seasoned with Amoroso sherry—a rich, sweetened style of Oloroso. This second maturation tames the distillery's signature fiery black pepper and intense peat smoke, wrapping them in layers of rich dried fruit, dark cacao, and sweet peat. The legendary coastal influence of Skye, where waves crash against the distillery walls, remains present in a distinct briny undertone, creating a beautifully complex dram that bridges the gap between the wild Scottish elements and warm Andalusian sunshine.

Founded in 1830 by brothers Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill on the windswept shores of Loch Harport in Carbost, Talisker is the oldest operating distillery on the Isle of Skye.
