Distilled in the shadow of the Cuillin Hills, this expression spent three decades maturing quietly in refill American and European oak casks. This extended sleep softens Talisker's famously fiery, peppery bite into an elegant, complex masterpiece. The maritime influence of the distillery's coastal location is deeply integrated, offering notes of sea salt, gentle peat smoke, beeswax, and tropical fruit. Talisker blev grundlagt i 1830 af brødrene Hugh og Kenneth MacAskill ved de vindblæste bredder af Loch Harport i Carbost og er det ældste aktive destilleri på Isle of Skye.
