Talisker 30 Year Old Bottled in 2015 represents the pinnacle of the Isle of Skye's rugged maritime distilling heritage. For three decades, this precious spirit rested in refill American and European oak casks, absorbing the salty sea air and dramatic coastal climate of Carbost. Over this extensive maturation, the distillery's signature fiery black pepper and intense peat smoke softened into an incredibly elegant, complex tapestry of maritime character. It weaves together notes of sweet seaweed, beeswax, tropical fruits, and gentle, warming smoke. The traditional wooden worm tubs used at Talisker impart a rich, oily texture that carries this sophisticated flavor profile beautifully, making it a legendary expression of Skye's dramatic terroir.

Founded in 1830 by brothers Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill on the windswept shores of Loch Harport in Carbost, Talisker is the oldest operating distillery on the Isle of Skye.
