Named after the dramatic, windswept westernmost point of the Isle of Skye, home to a historic lighthouse guarding the rocky coastline since 1909, Talisker Neist Point is a luxurious single malt that captures the wild, untamed spirit of its homeland. This expression is crafted from a selection of rare, highly mature casks, showcasing a refined harmony between Talisker's signature maritime power and a deeper, sweeter complexity. The whisky is shaped by Skye's rugged coastal terroir, where the spirit matures in warehouses exposed to the salty Atlantic winds. On the palate, it delivers the classic Talisker character—intense peat smoke, sea salt, and a fiery black pepper finish—softened by rich notes of wild honey, vanilla, and toasted oak, all delivered with an oily, full-bodied texture derived from the distillery's traditional wooden worm tubs.

Talisker blev grundlagt i 1830 af brødrene Hugh og Kenneth MacAskill ved de vindblæste bredder af Loch Harport i Carbost og er det ældste aktive destilleri på Isle of Skye. Destilleriet er berømt for sit unikke destillationsapparat med svanehalsede wash stills og traditionelle, udendørs worm tubs (kondenseringskar), som tilfører råspritten en karakteristisk maritim og vulkansk intensitet.
