✨ Technical Specifications

Hailing from the wind-swept shores of the Isle of Skye, this rare 30-year-old single malt represents the pinnacle of Talisker's maritime craft. Originally praised by poet Robert Louis Stevenson as the king of drinks, Talisker's spirit undergoes a magical transformation over three decades in refill oak casks. The distillery's traditional wooden worm tubs and coastal maturation allow the fierce, peppery peat of its youth to soften into an incredibly elegant, complex dram. This expression weaves together delicate threads of sweet orchard fruits, beeswax, and gentle peat smoke, underpinned by the signature sea-salt tang that defines the rugged spirit of Skye.

🍾 About the Producer

Founded in 1830 by brothers Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill on the windswept shores of Loch Harport in Carbost, Talisker is the oldest operating distillery on the Isle of Skye. The distillery is celebrated for its unique distillation setup, featuring swan-neck wash stills and traditional outdoor worm tubs, which impart a signature maritime and volcanic intensity to the new-make spirit. Today part of Diageo's Classic Malts portfolio, Talisker maintains an uncompromising dedication to crafting robust, peated single malt Scotch whiskies. Its flagship style is revered across the globe for its harmonious interplay of coastal salinity, rich peat smoke, dried fruit richness, and an unmistakable fiery black pepper finish.
