Hailing from the sun-drenched Bugeac plain in southern Moldova, a historic steppe region with viticultural roots stretching back centuries, the Bugeac Chardonnay by Tomai reflects a unique microclimate. The warm southern sun of Gagauzia, tempered by gentle breezes, allows the Chardonnay grapes to reach optimal ripeness, developing rich tropical fruit aromas and a rounded texture. Tomai-Vineex combines modern temperature-controlled fermentation with traditional cellar practices to preserve the grape's natural vibrancy. This wine captures the essence of the Bugeac terroir—a land steeped in folklore of ancient nomadic tribes and legendary hospitality—delivering a harmonious balance of fresh acidity, ripe yellow apple, and subtle buttery undertones.

Det historiske moldoviske vinhus Tomai (Tomai-Vinex) blev grundlagt i 1903 og har hjemme i landsbyen Tomai i den solbeskinnede sydlige region Gagauzien. Med over et århundredes vinmagerarv i ryggen forener ejendommen stolte vindyrkningstraditioner med moderne vinifikation for at indfange den gavmilde varme og det frugtbare terroir i det sydlige Moldova. Vingården fremstiller en bred og udtryksfuld portefølje af rød-, hvid- og rosévin på klassiske internationale druesorter som Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Franc og Chardonnay.
