Hailing from the sun-drenched Bugeac Steppe in the autonomous region of Gagauzia, southern Moldova, 'Roșu de Tomai' Cabernet embodies a winemaking heritage that dates back to 1903. The region's warm, semi-arid climate, tempered by gentle breezes from the nearby Black Sea, provides an ideal terroir for Cabernet Sauvignon. Grown in nutrient-rich clay and loam soils, the grapes develop deep color, intense black fruit aromas, and structured tannins. Tomai-Vineex crafts this red wine by combining traditional oak cask aging with modern temperature-controlled fermentation, resulting in a harmonious balance between ripe fruit expression and elegant, woody complexity. Det historiske moldoviske vinhus Tomai (Tomai-Vinex) blev grundlagt i 1903 og har hjemme i landsbyen Tomai i den solbeskinnede sydlige region Gagauzien.
